Life in my stride!

Often, I get tired of life!

It seems to be full of struggle & strife!

Why should it be so difficult

to get what I should?

I should get all that I want

by doing easily what I could!

I just want to desert life

And live on my own,

Do whatever I may,

go wherever I want,

My life I should own!

Once I got few moments,

away from life's clasp,

My own moments,

moments within my grasp!

Like a dream it was

That I could fabricate,

I thought, lot of joy

now I would create

I could go anywhere, do anything

I was in total control

But,

It was so lonely!

I was speaking at my loudest

but there was no one to hear!

How unpaying these moments were!

It was maddening,

I just escaped from those moments

and saw life smiling at me!

I asked her,

"Be my companion

would you be?

Let's dream together!"

Life said,

"Take me wherever

you may,

I am here to make your moments,

make your day!

But

take me in your stride

and then by all your commands

I shall abide,

Don't run away from me

rather be my host,

I am the one who

loves you the most,

I am the one who has brought you

and shall be with you

till the end,

don't take me as a foe,

I am your closest friend!"
